Dunning Community Programme Events
The community programme aims to attract local community members of all ages and interests. We are running a series of events aiming to provide fun and informative activities for kids and adults.
School days:The week preceding the excavation we will have local schools and youth groups visit the site and have a go at being an archaeologist. Workshops and Talks programme: Below are the details of our exciting programme so far. The series of workshops and events and digging days has been designed so you can take part in a mix - there will be no repeat sessions so you can see the whole project through from start to finish but equally you don't have to come to all of the sessions to understand what's happening. Dig: Throughout the excavation there will be the opportunity to get involved, from volunteering to dig or visiting the site at Millhaugh. Visiting the dig: If you are planning on visiting us please do. You can download the visitors info pdf below to find out more about how to visit. Open Day 2nd July: If you are planning on coming on the open day our arrangements are a bit different so have a look at the open day visitors info pdf. |
